Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in European employee benefits in a corporate HR role or benefits consulting firm
  • Strong knowledge of all type of employee benefits programs, including: Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes, insured life, accident, and heath plans, wellness, car programs, etc.
  • University degree in accounting, business or finance
  • APMI or FPMI qualified or equivalent
  • Experience managing a team in various global locations
  • Superior communication skills, including development of campaigns to support new HR initiatives
  • Exceptional project management skills, including M&A and change management
  • Solid vendor management skills, including knowledge of benefits vendors in Europe
  • Strong knowledge of tax, legal, and immigration issues around employee benefits
  • Experience with various HRIS platforms, especially Oracle bases systems

Job responsibilities

  • Review, design and evolution of the policies, programs, administration for Xerox’s employee benefits in alignment with legal requirements and the company’s Total Rewards strategy
  • Support the annual renewal and marketing process of all benefits programs in Europe, including partnering with Xerox Procurement and the company’s Global Broker and communicating changes as needed to Xerox HR and finance leaders in Europe
  • Develops and monitors the budget around the company’s employee benefits in coordination with European finance and develops future projections based on claims and HR trend data
  • Creates and executes employee and internal communication strategies and campaigns around employee benefits programs designed to inform, educate and engage employees
  • Serves as primary contact for benefit vendors providing direction to insurance carriers, trustees, and other administrative agencies outside the company to meet benefit and contractual needs
  • Conducts benchmarking analysis of employee benefits through both formal reports and informal networking to ensure competitive position of Total Rewards offerings with respect to peers
  • Advises day-to-day operations, reviews system benefits setups, processes and streamline administrative operations
  • Assures compliance of employee benefit programs with company policies and government regulations thorough audits, filings, reports and utilization of internal and external resources
  • Coordinates with Xerox HRIS resources to ensure that benefit data and support needs are met regarding employee benefit programs
  • Designs employee wellness programs with the company’s health vendors design to improve the health of the company’s employees overt the long-term and to increase attractiveness
  • Serves as the Secretary to the European Pensions Governance Committee and Chair of the United Kingdom’s Pension Governance Committee in coordination with various Pension Trustee committees
  • Oversees and addresses an issues, violations, and escalations raised with respect to the company’s employee benefit programs and/or their vendors
  • Supports the company’s M&A actions, including due diligence and post-close integration of Total Reward programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
