Significant Total Rewards experience gained within progressive organisations – preferably international experience, in related industries and with some exposure to merger / separation activity

Confident presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated project management expertise

High level of personal integrity and comfortable operating with ambiguity - capable of balancing good governance with high quality client service
Pragmatic solution-finder who is able to get things done
Adaptable and comfortable shifting between high-level design/consulting work and analytical/operational work

Job responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, International Total Rewards, this role will play a crucial part in supporting eBay’s business units and be part of the Global Total Rewards team.

Working with HR Business Partners, Centres of Expertise and Shared Services partners, the position will drive progressive initiatives focusing on eBay Inc’s International Total Rewards programs. The role will be based at eBay’s offices in London and may require some international travel.

Key Responsibilities include:
Understand eBay’s businesses and markets in the region.
Act as a Total Rewards business partner, solution provider and counselor to regional HR and management stakeholders by providing insightful analysis, expert advice and innovative recommendations.
Lead Total Rewards change projects of moderate complexity, designing and socializing changes which help support strategic business plans and strategies.
Support Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture and Expansion efforts in relation to benefit programs as needed throughout the region.
Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance of Total Rewardsprograms.
Work with the global benefits team to balance local, regional and industry norms within the generally consistent global benefits framework.
Lead external vendor management and selection, overseeing and monitoring performance of vendors (including insurance brokers and third-party administration providers) and managing vendor relationships to ensure smooth plan changes and efficient ongoing administration.
Lead the benefits renewal cycles within the region ensuring the optimum service / price ratio for eBay’s benefits programs.
