We need a iOS developer with an expert's depth of experience of building high quality mobile applications. You will be proficient in teaching and leading by example, and be comfortable mentoring both junior and senior developers.We write code in predominately in Swift, however you should also have deep knowledge of Objective-C.You will work with people who care about well written, test-driven, clean code, delightful user experiences and all the lovely stuff that's involved with automatically tested, zero-touch deployed applications. The team works very closely, and like to pair program on pretty much everything.Developers write their own tests, whilst learning from test engineers embedded in the team. EPD developers learn form each other, and we'd expect you to help us understand the world of iOS development. Our developers decide on the right tool for the job, so you should be comfortable in doing the same. We have a lot of fun discussing the merits of different technology and want people who can lead these conversations. We hope you get the idea of what we're looking for. We're looking for great developers, with an opinion, and the capability to back it up.

The European Product Development (EPD) teams are based in London and Berlin; we're part of a much larger Seller Experience group globally within eBay. We enable commerce at scale, and have massive customer impact. Whilst doing all this, we are on a mission to globally improve eBay technology, drive agile adoption and demonstrate customer-centric development.The Seller Experience group is responsible for improving the lives of our 25 million sellers worldwide. To do this, we improve existing experiences and build new products to make it easier, and quicker to sell on eBay, no matter how big or small the seller is, or where in the world they are based.We are continually striving for the highest quality, and work in small focussed teams following bits of Scrum, Kanban, with a healthy dose of Extreme Programming.Working at eBay is a rewarding, challenging and inspiring experience.
