Requirements
- Previous experience of residential property and plot sales is essential
- Previous experience of examination of title to Scottish property is essential
- General residential purchase and sales experience, including council house sales
- Experience of dealing with Housing Association Right to Buy sales
- Excellent team player
- Adopts a flexible and proactive approach to work duties
- Professional in all dealings with clients and projects a positive image of the firm at all time
- Self-motivated and driven

Job responsibilities
- Processing sales of residential properties
- Processing sales of plots on estates of new houses when required
- Negotiating relative to such offers to sell and concluding the contract, dealing with appropriate observations on title and settling transaction
- Assembling and checking title documentation
- Examining and reporting on title
- Preparing states for settlement and cash statements to clients
- Preparing cash forms and instructing bank transfers
- Instructing searches and reports required for residential and commercial property transactions
- Be aware of Brodies’ information security policies, and protect information assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference at all times
